Privacy Policy
Short version: this website collects what you type into the assistant and the contact details you choose to give us. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising or analytics trackers, and does not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers the public website at golaborate.com. It does not cover a GoLaborate instance operated by one of our customers — if you are a member of someone’s team or community running on GoLaborate, that organization controls its own data and its own privacy terms, and you should ask them.
2. What we collect
Questions you ask the assistant
When you type a question into the search box, that text is sent to our server so it can be answered. Most answers are pre-written and matched on your device. If no pre-written answer fits, the question is passed to a third-party AI provider to generate one.
Please do not type passwords, financial details, or other people’s private information into the assistant.
Contact details you choose to give
If you ask to speak with a person, we collect the name, email address and phone number you enter, together with the question that prompted it, so we can respond. These fields are optional except the email address, and nothing is submitted until you press the button.
Standard server records
Like any website, our server records each request: your IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser’s user-agent string. We also count page views so we know which pages are read. These records are used for security, troubleshooting and aggregate traffic counts.
3. What we do not do
- This site sets no cookies, and stores nothing in your browser’s local storage.
- There is no advertising, no ad network, no tracking pixel and no third-party analytics SDK.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
- We do not attempt to identify you across other websites.
4. Who else sees it
Only the people and services needed to answer you:
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server this site and its database sit on.
- An AI provider, which receives your question in order to generate an answer when no pre-written one fits. It receives the question text, not your contact details.
- Our email provider, if and when we reply to you.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the security of the service.
5. Where it is kept
Your information is stored on GoLaborate’s own server instance and its own database in the United States. It is not pooled with any customer organization’s data.
6. How long we keep it
Contact details and the inquiry attached to them are kept while we are in contact with you and for as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them — then deleted. Server request logs are short-lived and rotate automatically. If you want your information removed sooner, ask us and we will delete it.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can ask at any time and you do not need a reason. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under your local law; we will honour a request from anyone, wherever they are, rather than making you prove you qualify.
8. Children
This site is for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will remove it.

10. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects what we collect or who receives it, we will say so plainly here rather than quietly revising the text.
